Installation of MetaTrader 4 Script Tools Software

Vampire Trading Network, Inc. provides clients with MetaTrader 4 Scripts which allow for easier analysis of Charts.

The installation of the Vampire Trading Network, Inc. MT4 Script Tools is straight forward using an installer. The installer needs to be directed at the root directory of any MetatTrader 4; however, the MetaTrader Software must be at build 220 or higher.

  1. Launch the MetaTrader Script Tools Installer.
  2. Internet Explorer: Depending on your browser, the installer will have a different browser launcher. For Internet Explorer, the installer will allow for the option to RUN the installer directly without downloading it first. We suggest that you save it to your Desktop VTN Downloads directory that you created for the Chat Room installer.
    Firefox: The Firefox browser typically does not allow the user to run an application directly from source do to security reasons. Save the installer to your Desktop VTN Downloads directory that you created for the Chat Room installer.
  3. When you run the Installer a security warning will appear similar to that shown to the right. You can trust us, go ahead and "Run" the program.
  4. The opening window of the VTN MetaTrader 4 Demonstrator Installer will pop up. Click the "Next" Button.
  5. This is a very important instruction to pay attention too. The Script Tools are plugins to an existing MetaTrader 4 application. as such you need to select the root directory of the installed MetaTrader 4 platform you wish to install the scripts to. The installer will drop you in the base
    C:\Program Files\Vampire Trading Network folder. This will allow you to select on of the Demonstrator installations that VTN offers. If you are using a broker version you may need to move up one directory to
    C:\Program Files and select the MetaTrader 4 root directory there.
  6. Next you need to READ!!!! and agree to the license agreement. You will not get the next button until you click on the "I agree to the above terms and conditions" radio button.
  7. This step is the installation of the MetaTrader 4 Platform.
    THIS IS THE STEP YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL
    You MUST SELECT the root installation directory of the MetaTrader 4 of your choice by clicking the browse button that has " ... "
    IMPORTANT: Select the proper root installation directory of your preferred MetaTrader 4 BEFORE pressing NEXT or the installation will fail.
    Now click "Next".
  8. Press "Start", to begin the installation process. It will only take a few minutes with today's computers.
  9. Having completed the installation process, you will be able to use the script tools on the next time you launch the MetaTrader 4 application.
    Press "Next" to finish.
  10. This final window will pop-up. It is an advertisement from the installation software company as part of our agreement to license their software. Simply press "Exit".
